10 Window Settings

These commands control the way screen treats individual windows in a session. See Virtual Terminal, for commands to control the terminal emulation itself.

• Naming Windows: Control the name of the window
• Console: See the host's console messages
• Kill: Destroy an unwanted window
• Login: Control /etc/utmp logging
• Mode: Control the file mode of the pty
• Monitor: Watch for activity in a window
