Introduction to Inetutils

Inetutils is a collection of common network programs. It includes:

Most of them are improved versions of programs originally from BSD. Some others are original versions, written from scratch.

Downloading Inetutils

Inetutils can be found on http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/inetutils/ [via HTTP] and ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/inetutils/ [via FTP]. It can also be found on one of our FTP mirrors.

Documentation

Complete documentation in TeXinfo format is included in the distribution. An online manual is available.

The documentation is a work in progress. We recommend to visit this page often, to get documentation updates.

Inetutils has one mailing list: <bug-inetutils@gnu.org>.
